To identify a high resolution optical system able to collect high temporal resolution data for field deployment;
To collect a dataset of coupled multiangular reflectance and fluorescence on a vegetated target To evaluate the potential of multi-angular acquisitions to improve plant traits and ecosystem functional properties estimation;
To analyse long term spectral and eddy covariance data in order to identify the temporal windows more suited to identify ecosystem processes characterised by different dynamics. Since the optical signals related to variation in plant photosynthesis are usually a composite of different components, it is important to disentangle its sources of variability in order to accurately assess plant traits and ecosystem functional properties.
to develop an open source software for decoupling low and fast dynamics of data time series.

Month 24: with Dr. Migliavacca at MPI, Jena. 6 months to collaborate and learn more about the analysis of long term spectral and eddy covariance data.
